Fairview Students compete in Regional Skills Canada Competition

On Friday, April 11, nine students from Fairview High School competed in the 2025 North West Regional Skills Canada Competition. Pictured in the gallery below are some of those students in action on Friday. Mirha Iqbal and Miranda Tegart, along with Angela Yee and Valerie Bulldog competed in the Fashion Technology competition, while Travis Beaucage competed in the Culinary Arts competition. Both of these events were hosted at FHS.

At Northwestern Polytechnic, Chi Azuhnwi competed in Web Design, Katelyn Miller competed in hairstyling, Zach Friesen competed in welding, and both Aodhan Johnson and Carter Zavisha competed in Carpentry.

Congratulations to all of the competitors, and special mention goes to Angela Yee who earned a gold medal for her project in Fashion design! Angela will head to the Provincial competition in Edmonton in early May.
