Announcing Central Operations Staffing Appointments for 2025-2026
The Peace River School Division is excited to announce the appointment of three key Central Operations staff members for the 2025-2026 school year. Laura Krantz is the newly appointed K-6 Indigenous Education Program Coordinator. Ms. Krantz was formerly the Vice Principal at Grimshaw Public School, and has been employed with the Peace River School Division at schools in Berwyn, Peace River and Grimshaw since 2016.
Elaine Lombard is the newly appointed Division Literacy Program Coordinator. Ms. Lombard has been a Grade 1, 2 and 3 teacher at École Springfield Elementary School since 2022, and a teacher for the last 17 years. She is a self-professed life-long learner and is passionate about helping students achieve success in the area of literacy.
Sabrina Fentie is the newly appointed Divisional Inclusive Education Coordinator. While new to the Peace River School Division, Ms. Fentie has been a teacher and principal for the last 15 years. Ms. Fentie said her approach to teaching is guided by words her mom said to her often as a child, "You can't love someone too much." For Ms. Fentie, this has translated into understanding that many students face unseen challenges, and as a result, it is a core believe that students both need and deserve strong educational advocates.
