PRSD Trustee Advocacy Work lands on CBC

One of the primary roles of a school board Trustee is to advocate for public education and the interests of students within their division. Recently, PRSD Trustees have caught the attention of national news provider CBC through the advocacy work they are doing in connection with the ongoing viability review of Dixonville School.

These challenges include declining enrollment and increased transportation costs because of population sparsity. These challenges demand, according to our Trustees, something beyond the existing "one-size-fits-all" funding approaching.
