PRSD staff participate in blanket exercise
On Wednesday, August 28, the Peace River School Division's Project Peace Success Coaches and Mental Health in Schools Student Support Workers met at Central Operations in Grimshaw to kick off the new school year.
As part of their day of learning, the staff had an opportunity to participate in a regional blanket exercise facilitated by Indigenous Education Coordinator Holly Crumpton, Priscilla Lalonde and Wendy Goulet. This immersive experience was well-received by the group, with many expressing hopes that they may be able to see blanket exercises done at their own schools.
