Congratulations Cheyenne: Pink Shirt Day Logo Design Contest Winner!
We are thrilled to announce the winner of the PRSD Pink Shirt Day Logo Design Contest!
Congratulations to Cheyenne, a talented Grade 12 student from Grimshaw Public School!
Cheyenne's winning design will be featured on the official PRSD Pink Shirt Day t-shirt for 2025. Her creative and inspiring artwork perfectly captures the spirit of kindness, inclusivity, and anti-bullying that Pink Shirt Day represents. In her artist's description, Cheyenne explained that she chose to include the words "be kind," written three different ways. The first line is written in modern Cree and contrasts with the second line, which is written in the original Cree syllabics. Finally, the third line is written in English. The image is of two people holdings hands as one of the most simple ways to demonstrate two people being kind to one another.
"That's what pink shirt day is all about," Cheyenne wrote.

About Pink Shirt Day
Pink Shirt Day is an annual anti-bullying campaign that takes place on the last Wednesday of February. It began in 2007 when two high school students in Nova Scotia took a stand against bullying by wearing pink shirts to school. Since then, Pink Shirt Day has grown into a global movement that promotes kindness, acceptance, and respect.
We encourage everyone to participate in Pink Shirt Day and help create a more inclusive and compassionate world. Together, we can make a difference!
