Celebrating Student Achievement: Perfect Score on Grade 6 PAT
The Peace River School Division's Board of Trustees is thrilled to celebrate the outstanding achievement of Tejas Singh, a dedicated student who has achieved an incredible 100% on the Grade 6 Science Provincial Achievement Test during the previous school year.
This remarkable accomplishment is a testament to Tejas's hard work, dedication, and passion for learning. The Board of Trustees extended their congratulations to Tejas and his family during a special award celebration on November 21 in the Board Room at PRSD Central Operations.
Tejas was a student at Fairview's E.E. Oliver Elementary School when he wrote the Grade 6 PAT. Since then, his family has moved away from the area, and Tejas now attends school in Grande Prairie. He told the Board of Trustees he has aspirations of becoming either a doctor or a lawyer one day, but he currently enjoys playing basketball and volleyball. Tejas attended the board meeting with his mother, Manjit Kaur.
“We are unbelievably proud of Tejas and his accomplishments during the last school year. A perfect score on a Provincial Achievement Test is not an easily achieved feat and we are honoured to have been able to welcome Tejas to the board room in November and congratulate him in person,” said Board Chair Crystal Owens.
Tejas's achievement serves as an inspiring example of what can be accomplished with perseverance and support. We hope his success motivates other students to pursue their academic goals with dedication and enthusiasm. Congratulations Tejas!
