The Peace River School Division respectfully acknowledges that the land on which we are located is Treaty 8 Territory, the traditional home of the Cree and Dene, as well as the land base for the Métis Nation within Alberta. We are grateful for the traditional knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today, and for those who have gone before us. We are grateful for the wisdom and truths they have provided to us for the purpose of continuing to learn and grow. We recognize the land as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
