Darren Kuester has served on the board for a total of three terms and is beginning his fourth year as Board Chair.

“Schools are the heart of our communities, and like our communities, public schools are a diverse melting pot of various cultures, religions and backgrounds joined together as one” says Kuester. “I am pleased to continue as Board Chair and together with fellow trustees, am dedicated to being a strong advocate for our students and proudly support all that public education represents.”

“Our division provides students with an all-encompassing educational experience and continually evolves to meet the needs of students in our changing world” says Woroniuk.  “We are passionate about ensuring our students are provided with everything they need to reach their full potential and I look forward to serving as Vice-Chair in the fall.”

PRSD extends gratitude to Sherry Crawford for her leadership and service as Vice Chair.  Sherry served as Vice Chair for two years and has served the board for four terms.

During the organizational meeting, trustees also determined committees they will represent, appointed trustee representation to external agencies and scheduled dates and times for Regular Board Meetings and Committee of the Whole Meetings for the 2016-2017 school year.
