PRSD Link: Inquiry Process Model

If you are doing research with your students and their research strategy is to "google it" - this site will help you. Very effective in all subject areas and tiered for differentiating needs of students - to help address these differences, three incremental levels of readiness are built into the PRSD Inquiry Model: Novice, Developing, and Experienced. This model was developed by the work of PRSD teachers over the course of three years. It has been in use throughout the district and beyond since its development.

This Inquiry Model is based on the underlying concept of USING information rather than merely locating it. Three interdependent processes are represented: the searcher’s thinking, the search process, and instructional strategies.
