RCMP Respond to call at TA Norris Middle School

In response to concerns raised about a situation that occurred on the school grounds late Saturday night, the Peace River School Division would like to share the following information, courtesy of the Peace Regional RCMP.

On April 20, the Peace Regional RCMP responded to a call at Peace River School Division's T.A. Norris Middle School grounds. Upon arrival, the RCMP located a deceased individual. After investigation, the RCMP believe the death to be non-criminal in nature.

The RCMP are aware of the public concern regarding this incident and want to reassure the public that there was never any threat of danger to the public and that the incident is in no way linked to the school.

As the death was determined to be non-criminal in nature, no further information will be released by the RCMP.

The Peace River School Division is grateful to have a strong relationship with the RCMP in each of our school communities. It is always our priority to ensure our students are safe and secure while they are at our schools.
